Criterium De Saint-Cloud winner earns 16-1 Derby quote

Coral has introduced Waldgeist into their Investec Derby betting at 16-1, following the colt’s Group One success at Saint-Cloud this afternoon.
The other top level winner at the Parisian track today, Thunder Snow, is 20-1 (from 25-1) with Coral for next year’s QIPCO 2,000 Guineas.
Looking further afield, the ex-Mark Johnston-trained Hartnell is 4-1 favourite for Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup, ahead of Bondi Beach and Jameka, both 13-2. Godolphin’s Oceanographer is next at 7-1, with Michael Bell’s dual Goodwood Cup winner Big Orange 10-1.
