Five Championship tips for weekend clashes
Championship teams ready themselves for another round of fixtures after playing in midweek, with all 12 games taking place on Saturday.
The likes of league leaders Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United feature among our best bets below, as do the two live matches as Cardiff City host Leeds United and Birmingham City welcome Sheffield Wednesday.
Read on to check out Coral’s five Championship tips for September 17th…
Leeds to beat Cardiff in Wales
Saturday, 12:30 BST – Live on Sky Sports 1

Sleeping giants Leeds have not had the best of starts this season, as they find themselves down in 18th after claiming seven points from as many games, but they have certainly fared better than Cardiff.
The Bluebirds have lost each of their last three fixtures in the second tier which has put them into the dropzone, while they were also defeated by the Whites home and away last term.
Back Yorkshire outfit Leeds, therefore, to triumph once more at the Cardiff City Stadium at a tasty 5/2 price.
Newcastle to win and both teams score
Saturday, 15:00 BST

History between these two suggests there will be a draw, as Newcastle and Wolverhampton Wanderers have shared the spoils in four of their last six clashes, but they haven’t met since 2012.
The Toon are now on a run of five straight wins in the Championship, after a shaky start, while Wolves are 16th.
A Newcastle win with both teams scoring looks tempting at 11/4.
Take a look at what Coral ambassador and Toon legend Alan Shearer thinks of his former club’s start.
Villans to claim spoils with 2-1 win
Saturday, 15:00 BST

This time, going with history looks the best shout. Aston Villa seemingly love beating Ipswich Town 2-1, as they have done so in four of their previous five meetings.
Villa are still down in 17th after four draws from their opening seven fixtures, but the stats show that they’d be top if they kept hold of the lead.
Against the Tractor Boys, the Villans can finally claim their first victory of the season since the second matchweek, and they are 9/1 to win 2-1 again.
QPR to draw with rampant Terriers
Saturday, 15:00 BST

Huddersfield are still top of the table, despite losing late on in midweek at Brighton and Hove Albion, after an unexpected flying start to the season.
QPR will be in low spirits too after a 6-0 smashing at the hands of Newcastle that has seen them drop into the bottom half, though can take heart in the fact that they are undefeated in their last six meetings with the Terriers.
A draw at 23/10 looks a decent punt to take.
Fletcher to score anytime
Saturday, 17:30 BST – Live on Sky Sports 1

The last Championship fixture of the weekend sees Birmingham and Sheffield Wednesday battle it out at St Andrew’s in the evening kick-off.
West Midlands outfit Birmingham are currently up in the play-offs after claiming 12 points to date, but don’t write off the Owls from this duel as they have won their last two – against Wigan Athletic and Bristol City.
Summer signing Steven Fletcher scored in both of those, and he is an enticing 6/4 just to find the net anytime again.
