Sky Sports presenter Scott Minto has lots to say about this weekend’s upcoming televised football fixtures.

Coral caught up exclusively with him to discuss all the big TV battles, starting with the Friday night Championship offering of Preston North End v Wigan Athletic.

Scott, who anchors the live Championship coverage on Sky Sports, also gives predictions for Manchester United v Leicester City and Arsenal v Chelsea, before returning to the rest of the Premier League.

West Ham United v Southampton is the big Sunday clash from the top-flight, while Burnley v Watford will tide fans over into Monday Night Football following the weekend action.

We’ve summarised his thoughts below each video, but play them all to get the full story from Minto!

Preston v Wigan predictions

In this clash between two sides not in the best of form at the beginning of the Championship campaign, Minto believes there could be a sharing of the spoils.

The Friday night encounter will see both teams in desperate need of points, as they sit worryingly towards the wrong end of the table, with Minto predicting a draw.

Man Utd v Leicester predictions

Jose Mourinho’s Man Utd take on the champions in Saturday’s early kick-off, and Minto is hoping to see Marcus Rashford and Michael Carrick start for the Red Devils’ own sake.

He is calling a home win for Mourinho’s men, though thinks the Foxes have what it takes to trouble their opponents and get on the scoresheet at Old Trafford.

Arsenal v Chelsea predictions

Saturday evening will see the awaited London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea, and Minto is looking forward to seeing Cesc Fabregas play at the Emirates against his former club, who has been back to impressive form of late.

Minto believes the renewed partnership of Fabregas and Diego Costa could be a decisive factor and is calling a Chelsea victory on the road.

Weekend Football Treble

For Minto’s weekend football treble, he is going for wins for all of Millwall, Plymouth Argyle and Crewe Alexandra.

Watch the video above to find out exactly why he’s backing this trio of sides!

Weekend Goals Goals Goals fivefold

It’s all about the goals next, with Minto outlining his fivefold for both teams to score from across the Premier League and Championship.

His predictions include Swansea City v Manchester City, Arsenal v Chelsea and Reading v Huddersfield. Watch the video to find out the rest of his selections!

Aston Villa v Newcastle predictions

Minto is looking forward to watching the two biggest teams in the Championship, with Aston Villa and Newcastle usually a big clash in the top tier.

He is backing a score draw for this tasty tussle in the West Midlands!

West Ham v Southampton predictions

Minto has outlined West Ham’s recent problems and believes a draw or a Southampton win is on the cards on their visit to the Olympic Stadium.

All three points for the Saints is being tipped, with Slaven Bilic having come under pressure after a string of underwhelming results.

Burnley v Watford predictions

In the first ever top-flight match-up between Burnley and Watford, Minto is predicting an away triumph for the travelling Hornets at Turf Moor.
