Coral’s Rumour Reel

Despite signing Lucas Perez in the summer window, Arsene Wenger’s side still remain thin on centre forward reinforcements and now Andrea Belotti to Arsenal is being linked in today’s back pages.

Belotti to Arsenal

According to reports coming out of Italy, the Emirates outfit are set to rival Liverpool for the signature of Torino defender Belotti in January.

Italy Soccer Serie A

The 22-year-old hitman netted 12 for the Italians last term and chipped in with six assists. Belotti has already got off to a flyer this term, finding the net on four occasions in only two league games.

However, Torino are under no financial pressure to sell and could sit back and watch Arsenal and the Reds collide in a transfer battle.

Official scouts attending Torino games have been recognised as those from European giants, so a swift swoop by the Gunners in January could save them a slot of money down the line.

Juve eye Alexis

There have been rumblings surrounding Alexis Sanchez in recent months suggesting a move away from Arsenal could be on the cards.

European giants would be lining to attempted to carve out a deal for the Chile international, but one in particular has emerged.

Italian champions Juventus are reportedly set to offer a £200k-a-week deal for the attacker to switch to Turin. Sanchez is expected to enter contract talks with Wenger later this month, but the Chilean’s wage demands could smash Arsenal’s wage structure and stall a deal.

Since his arrival in 2014 from Barcelona, former Udinese star Sanchez has become a hit with the fans and totted up a superb 17 goals and 11 assists in all competitions last term.

With two years left on his contract, Arsenal may be in a tricky situation and have to offer big wages in order to keep the forward.

Adebayor off to France

The Togo forward has been a free agent after leaving Crystal Palace, but now seems he is closing in on a move to Lyon.

Lyon boss Bruno Genesio has confirmed that Emmanuel Adebayor is close to joining Les Gones on a free transfer, adding to the attacking talents of Alexandre Lacazette and teenager Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Now 32, Adebayor has a track record of scoring for top teams in Europe and will be reportedly brought in to add experience to a young side.
