Coral’s bet of the day

  • Nani has scored seven in his last 15 caps
  • He finished joint second top scorer at Euro 2016
  • Portugal have been defeated only once in seven against Swiss

Nani to score and Portugal to win terrific 13/2

Nani excelled at Euro 2016 and was a driving force behind his nation’s success. The former Manchester United man has netted seven in his last 15 caps and bagged a brace in Portugal’s last match.

With Cristiano Ronaldo out of proceedings, the captain’s armband now falls to Nani and, judging by his recent performances, is determined to do his nation proud once again.

The winger moved to Valencia this summer after an outstanding stint in Turkey with Istanbul side Fenerbahce, recording a huge 12 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.

Nani appears to be having a real career renaissance and is a generous 13/2 with Coral to net in a Portugal win over Switzerland (£20 max stake) tonight and, with three goals for the Navigators in as many matches, looks likely to do it.

Santos’ side swat Swiss

Fernando Santos’ Portugal are coming off their greatest ever football tournament, winning the nation’s first competitive trophy at Euro 2016 and will be flying high on confidence and winning spirit coming into their first World Cup qualifier.

In their last seven encounters, the Navigators have only lost once and look likely to keep their fine form going in Switzerland.

While Portugal rejoiced at the European Championship, their Swiss foes struggled, finishing second in their group and were knocked out of the competition at the round of 16.

Add this to the fact that Santos’ side possess attacking threats Joao Mario and Ricardo Quaresma, and a win looks more than likely.
