Last week didn’t go his way, as Hull failed to score against Man Utd, Aguero didn’t bag first against West Ham and there were far less goals than expected at White Hart Lane, but our Mystery Trader is back to redeem himself. It’s a tough weekend of fixtures and many will be discouraged by the internationals taking place, but our man has picked out three bets he thinks can make you some profit…

Perisic to punish Turkey

NAP (best bet) – Ivan Perisic to Score Anytime v Turkey @ 2/1*

Perisic is an ever-present in the Croatia national side having notched up 50 caps since his debut in 2011. He’s a very clever winger who loves to attack and with the likes of Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic and Real Madrid’s Luca Modric providing the ammo, he should be able to get on the scoresheet against Turkey. Perisic was the top scorer for his country in their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign and at the tournament itself this summer, so back the Inter Milan attacker to bag on Monday night.

Three Lions to show some Hart

NB (next best) – England to Win to Nil @ 21/10*

Big Sam takes charge of his very first England game this Sunday and many will be expecting the Three Lions to get off to a winning start when they take on Slovakia. Although we were held to a drab 0-0 draw at the Euros, England did beat this weekend’s opponents both home and away in qualifying for the tournament. The fact that Slovakia didn’t manage to get a goal in that clash in France is encouraging, as is the fact that Sam Allardyce’s teams are notoriously well-drilled in defence. Joe Hart has a point to prove after being sent out on loan from Man City, he remains England’s number one and will desperate to keep a clean sheet.

Sharp to make a point

Billy Sharp to Score First v Gillingham @ 5/1*

Sharp is a goal machine at League One level, having notched 21 goals last season. He’s had a slow start to this campaign but got off the mark last week when scoring the equalising goal against Oxford United and could now go on a scoring streak for the Blades. Gillingham won’t roll over for Chris Wilder’s side at Preistfield, but they’ve conceded the most goals in the division so far this season and that trend looks likely to continue on Sunday.
