Four 2016 US Open tournament tips
The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the annual tennis calendar, and to celebrate it beginning on Monday, August 29th Coral experts have come up with what they feel to be the best bets.
Flushing Meadows in New York is a terrific sporting theatre for top tennis drama to be played out, and there’s British interest in both singles competitions.
Who features among our US Open tournament tips? Read on and you’ll see…
Rafael Nadal to be knocked out in quarters

Rafael Nadal stage of elimination odds to bow out in the quarter-finals could well be worth investing in.
It’s to the Rafael Nadal stage of elimination odds that we look first. This market is becoming more and more popular as the King of Clay’s court prowess wanes.
Although you have to be a patient punter for this to appeal to you here, Nadal should face Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic in the last eight should both top seeds make it to the second week at Flushing Meadows.
The last time Canadian representative Raonic met Nadal in a quarter-final, at Indian Wells last year, he won, so backing the Spaniard’s stage of elimination at the US Open to be this again is a 15/8 price.
Djokvoic to play Murray in men’s singles final

Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have contested two of the other three men’s singles Grand Slam finals this season.
As the top two seeds in the men’s singles draw, it is expected that defending US Open champion Novak Djokovic and two-time Wimbledon winner Andy Murray will meet in this Grand Slam final.
Two of the three tennis Majors this season have come down to this duo, and based on that you could be forgiven for thinking it happening again would be odds-on. But there’s real value in 11/10 odds for Djokovic and Murray to play in the Flushing Meadows final again, having done so back in 2012 when the Briton earned his maiden Slam.
Serbia star Djokovic disappointed on the grass courts of Wimbledon and also failed to make an impact at the Olympics, but this hard surface underfoot in the USA brings out the best in him.
All three top seeds make women’s singles semis

Angelique Kerber is seeded second for the US Open women’s singles tournament, between fellow 2016 Grand Slam winners Serena Williams and Garbine Muguruza.
If it’s a bigger price you’re after, then a fantastic 14/1 price says all of the top three female seeds will reach the semi-finals.
Joining WTA world number one Serena Williams are Australian Open champ Angelqiue Kerber and French Open winner Garbine Muguruza, and all three ladies need to make the semis for this bet to come off.
Given how the trio have each won one of the other Grand Slams on offer this season, this might be the best of our US Open tournament tips to take.
Tournament outright double: Murray and Serena

Andy Murray and Serena Williams won at Wimbledon, so could do so again.
One sure-fire way to squeeze extra value out of the fantastic fortnight at Flushing Meadows is to do a men’s and women’s singles outright double.
If betting separately, a patriotic punt on Murray (7/4) and backing Serena (5/4) to win her home Slam only give modest returns, but if combined you can win more than £5 off a £1 stake at current pre-tournament odds for the US Open.
Williams is a six-time singles winner at Flushing Meadows, while Murray has taken full advantage of Djokovic’s recent slump and add a fourth Grand Slam title to his collection.
