10 Premier League tips August 13-15

It’s finally here. Saturday sees the 2016/17 Premier League season begin with a bang, returning England’s elite football teams to TV screens across the land.

There has been plenty to intrigue punters during the off-season, with world record-breaking transfers and a managerial merry-go-round to set up the new campaign nicely.

So, without further ado, Coral return to the bread and butter of English top-flight football betting, presenting customers with Premier League tips for August 13-15, with one each for all 10 opening weekend matches.

Leicester to beat Hull and under 2.5 goals

Defending Premier League champions Leicester City travel to newly promoted Hull City for Saturday’s televised showpiece curtain raiser and face a still rudderless Tigers team after Steve Bruce’s departure.

Leicester City v Everton - Barclays Premier League - King Power Stadium

Claudio Ranieri’s fantastic Foxes may need to dig deep in this road rumble, but were masters of winning by slim margins last season so look superb value at 14/5 for victory and under 2.5 goals to be scored in the game.

Burnley and Swansea draw in both halves

Burnley may be the new boys on the block again and operating once more on a shoestring budget, but the Clarets are still stubborn on home soil, as they were on their last ill-fated promotion to the Premier League.

Burnley v Queens Park Rangers - Sky Bet Championship - Turf Moor

Swansea City, meanwhile, were so shaky away from home last season and have made only one signing of note this summer. So, a draw at Turf Moor in each half is a terrific 10/3.

No team to score in Palace and West Brom battle

It’s been an underwhelming summer transfer window for both Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion so far, with both failing to add big name attackers.

Soccer - FA Cup - Third Round - West Bromwich Albion v Crystal Palace - The Hawthorns

These two sides similarly lacked spark at the end of last season, trailing off with poor runs, so a cagey clash with odds of 6/1 for neither team to be on target at Selhurst Park looks a shout.

Vincent Janssen last scorer for Spurs

Tottenham have a tasty tussle with Everton up first away at Goodison Park and, Coral have recently highlighted how the London club have been scoring for fun in pre-season.

Tottenham Hotspur v Juventus - International Champions Cup - MCG

The Toffees have lost a key player at the back in John Stones, plus defensive shield Muhamed Besic to injury, so summer Spurs striker signing Janseen should fancy his chances of a debut Premier League goal.

Perhaps unlikely to be thrown on from the first whistle, the deadly Dutchman is 5/1 for the final say, after already displaying his fine finishing in friendlies.

Middlesbrough can defeat Stoke to nil

Back Boro at 12/5 for a win to nil, as Middlesbrough were mightily impressive at the Riverside last term, and have enough in their ranks to repel Stoke City.

Aston Villa v Middlesbrough - Pre-Season Friendly - Villa Park

The Potters lack panache on the road, having shipped the most away goals of any top 10 team last term. After Teesside boys Boro’s summer spending exploits seeing Alvaro Negredo and Viktor Fischer land at the club among others, they are well set to pose Stoke problems.

Shane Long for the opening Southampton goal

Southampton should have little trouble at home against a Watford team with a new man in charge, and lethal Long can pick up where he left off and seize the limelight now Graziano Pelle is gone.

Aston Villa v Southampton - Barclays Premier League - Villa Park

Long drew first blood at home against the Hornets last season, making odds of 4/1 for him to fire in the opener again extremely enticing.

Man City to lead Sunderland after 15 mins

Manchester City have made some real superstar signings this summer, and can blow away Sunderland to give David Moyes a baptism of fire.

China Soccer Manchester City

The likes of Nolito and Leroy Sane could play a part alongside Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne and co, meaning the Citizens look set for a blistering start under Pep Guardiola with odds of 3/1 up for grabs for the Sky Blues to lead after 15 minutes. Last time these two battled at the Etihad it took City just 12 minutes to get ahead and they can fly out of the blocks once more.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic first scorer against Bournemouth

Having nabbed the winner already in the Community Shield, Swedish striking superstar Ibrahimovic also looks good to bag on on his Premier League bow, as Manchester United meet Bournemouth.

Manchester Utd Xl v Everton Xl - Wayne Rooney Testimonial Match - Old Trafford Stadium

The towering sharpshooter is a tasty 10/3 to get Jose Mourinho’s new-look Red Devils off the mark at Dean Court, with the Cherries defence set for a tough time.

Draw and over 2.5 goals in Arsenal v Liverpool

Games between the Gunners and Reds tend to bring goals galore, with 30 racked up between them in their past eight encounters in all competitions.

Liverpool v Arsenal - Barclays Premier League - Anfield

Coral punters may want to brace themselves for a real cracker here, as Liverpool have added more artillery to their attack and Arsenal are without several key defenders. As three of their last four frays have also ended evenly a draw and over 2.5 goals in the game at a terrific 10/1 looks best to back in this Sunday teatime scuffle.

West Ham for a point at Stamford Bridge

West Ham United were big game players in the previous Premier League season and managed to pinch a point at Stamford Bridge.

West Ham United v Manchester United - Barclays Premier League - Upton Park

As Chelsea are still adapting to life under Antonio Conte, Slaven Bilic’s boys are 3/1 to come away with a draw again in this early test for the two capital clubs on Monday evening.
