Premier League team of matchweek three
The English top-flight was back for its third instalment of thrills and spills, and featured some fantastic individual performances.
With this in mind, Coral football writers have picked out their Premier League team of matchweek three. Read on to discover who made the XI…
Formation: 4-3-3
Goalkeeper: Ben Foster (West Bromwich Albion)

Foster kept his second clean sheet in three games and was always ready when called upon. His save from a close-range Daniel Ayala effort was a particular highlight, in a comfortable afternoon for the England man.
Right back: Antonio Valencia (Manchester United)

The Ecuador international continued his renaissance under Jose Mourinho with another strong showing. Valencia was a constant threat down the flank, fired the most crosses in the league this weekend and helped United towards a clean sheet.
Centre back: Ashley Williams (Everton)

Williams continued his fine Euro 2016 form with a no nonsense first league start under Ronald Koeman. He added bite to the side and was never troubled by the awkward frame of Peter Crouch. The Wales defender also won a penalty for the Toffees and finished the game with a clean sheet.
Centre back: Curtis Davies (Hull City)

Tigers captain Davies led by example with a phenomenal performance, in a brave Hull display against the Red Devils. He made 16 clearances, five blocks and two tackles, before the visitors snatched all three points at the death.
Left back: Danny Rose (Tottenham)

With cool control and a neat finish, Rose secured a valuable point for Spurs against Liverpool. He offered an outlet to his teammates throughout the game and maintained solid defensive stability.
Centre midfield: Fernandinho (Manchester City)

The Brazilian headed in a fantastic goal and made 66 of his 72 passes – more than any other player at the Etihad on Sunday. Midfield anchor Fernandinho has started every league game so far and looks a favourite of new boss Pep Guardiola.
Centre midfield: N’Golo Kante (Chelsea)

Former Leicester City holding player Kante displayed all-round excellence against Burnley; from breaking up opposition play to starting attacks, the Frenchman was marvellous. Kante seems to cover every blade of grass in his terrier-like tireless performances.
Centre midfield: Danny Drinkwater (Leicester)

Having recently signed a new five-year contract with the reigning Premier l=League champions, Drinkwater was back to his best and was crucial in slicing through Swansea City’s defence – recording an assist.
Forward: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

After a poor season last term, Hazard looks reborn. The Belgian superstar has now netted six in his past eight league games, having scored six in 44 matches prior to that. His goal at the weekend was vintage Hazard, and he’s clearly back to his best.
Forward: Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)

After a rocky first couple of games, Arsenal finally registered their first win with a huge helping hand from Sanchez. The Chilean was involved in every Gunners goal, assisting two and scoring once.
Forward: Raheem Sterling (Man City)

With two strikes at the weekend, Sterling has now had a hand in five goals in four appearances under Guardiola. Sterling struggled initially since his big move move to Manchester, but now appears to be realising his potential under the Catalan coach.
