Gamble on Lineker braving white grundies on MOTD

Leading bookmaker Coral has seen a gamble on Gary Lineker bravely wearing white underpants to present the opening Match of the Day of the new season tomorrow in which the firm has slashed the odds into 5-2 (from 12-1) following a flurry of bets.
Lineker made the pledge last December to wear his underpants alone if Leicester won the title last season and the former England striker is set to fulfil that promise tomorrow. Coral make him odds-on at 4-6 to be wearing blue pants in honour of the Foxes’ success, while Oddballs branded multi-coloured pants are in the betting 6-1.
“You would have thought white underpants would be the last choice of colour that Lineker would go for to present the opening Match of the Day of the season, however, punters disagree as we have seen a flurry of bets on him bravely choosing white,” said Coral’s John Hill.
