Four England v Pakistan 2nd ODI tips
England go into their second ODI with Pakistan 1-0 up after convincingly winning at the Rose Bowl via the Duckworth–Lewis method, though will be wary of their next battle at Lord’s having lost to the Asian nation on this ground the last couple of times.
Read on to find out Coral’s four top tips for the clash…
Pakistan to win
As mentioned above, Pakistan have fared well recently against England at Lord’s in this form of the game, winning the last two (in 2006 and 2010), and relatively convincingly.
While the Men in Green may not have beaten England in the last four ODIs, they put in a decent effort last time out and are tempting 2/1 chances for victory to level the series.
Joe Root to be top England batsman
Jason Roy and Root lead the way at the Rose Bowl, hitting 65 and 61 respectively, but the latter was only sent his marching orders after being run out.
As the Yorkshire star is in such good form in all forms of the game, he top the market to be best England batsman this time around at 3/1.
Azhar Ali in enhanced wincast
Meanwhile, in Pakistan’s batting market, opener Ali is the favourite, but is also the subject of a Coral enhanced wincast, with odds of 12/1 available for him to get the most run for his team and the Men in Green triumph.
The Punjab-born 31-year-old looked in great touch in the opening ODI, smashing 82 before eventually being dismissed by Adil Rashid.
Adil Rashid to be top England bowler
Another Yorkshireman features in this tipping piece, and Rashid will be aiming to be top England bowler once again after returning the best figures last time out of 2-51 from his nine overs.
The tricky leg spinner is 10/3 to do so.
