Crystal Palace v Bournemouth: Draw

Crystal Palace have not beaten their next opponents Bournemouth since 1988 and, after both sides started their seasons with successive defeats, a draw looks on the cards in this encounter.

Everton v Stoke City: Home win

Back-to-back victories have given Everton a huge boost ahead of their clash with Stoke City, who were recently thrashed 4-1 by Manchester City, and a home victory looks more than capable for Ronald Koeman’s Toffees.

Watford v Arsenal: Away win

Watford managed to overcome Arsenal on their travels last season in the FA Cup, but the Gunners possess plenty of attacking threats and should have too much for the Hornets this time out at Vicarage Road.

Bristol City v Aston Villa: Home win

Aston Villa have won just one of their five games in all competitions so far this term, while Bristol City began brightly with three consecutive wins, before stuttering to two losses. After a recent extra-time cup win over Scunthorpe, back the hosts to prevail again.

Charlton Athletic v Bolton Wanderers: Draw

This looks set to be a competitive clash, with both Charlton and Bolton entering proceedings after recent respective winning runs, so a sharing of the spoils has potential in their latest meeting.

Partick Thistle v Hearts: Away win

Hearts prevailed in all three league meetings with Partick Thistle last season and that streak looks set to continue in this match-up, so back an away success here.

Lazio v Juventus: Away win

Having managed to see off Fiorentina in their Serie A opener, Juve should have no problems punishing Lazio, who have shown they can certainly score but also concede by the bucket-load. Gonzalo Higuain and Pablo Dybala will be licking their lips.

Osasuna v Real Sociedad: Draw

There have been four draws in the past six meetings between these two Spanish sides, so another encounter ending evenly after both teams failed to find opening La Liga week wins looks to be on the cards.

Hull v Man Utd: Away win

Hull may have grabbed some heroic results but their winning run should come to an end against the Red Devils, with Man Utd looking both ruthless and efficient under Jose Mourinho with Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic integrating quickly.

Newcastle v Brighton: Draw

At home the Magpies can avoid defeat but, though Rafael Benitez’s boys have built up a head of steam, a splitting of spoils seems most likely as Brighton are unbeaten in all competitions and consistent performers.

Napoli v AC Milan: Home Win

Napoli should be able to edge the Rossoneri on home soil in this Italian encounter, having demolished the Milan men to nil in two of their past three meetings.

West Brom v Middlesbrough: Draw

The Baggies can be notoriously difficult to pinch points off, especially at The Hawthorns, when in the mood. But, Boro have bounced into the Premier League, and will be buoyed by their Northeast derby triumph, so have enough to claim a draw.

Man City v West Ham: Home win

It’s tough to see past Pep Guardiola’s stylish Citizens taking all three points at the Etihad, after notching 11 goals in three games across all competitions so far. Sergio Aguero is in a deadly mood and can dent the rusty Hammers.

Athletic Bilbao v Barcelona: Away win

These two La Liga teams know each other very well following six meetings in all competitions last term, in which giants Barca lost only one. Catalan success seems likely again after they thrashed Real Betis 6-2, while Bilbao lost their league opener to Sporting Gijon.

Villarreal v Sevilla: Draw

Staunch Villarreal and defensively leaky but goal hungry Sevilla could cancel themselves out in this Spanish clash, with neither starting the season completely convincingly and backing a draw appealing.
