Leading bookmaker Coral has cut the odds on John Stones joining Manchester City into 1-4 (from evens) after it emerged Pep Guardiola could be set to break the world transfer record for a defender with a £50 million bid for the Everton player.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Chelsea are the 6-4 favourites to win the race to sign Italy international Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus, Paul Pogba remains odds-on at 1-3 to move to Manchester United, while Arsenal are 2-1 to splash the cash on Julian Draxler.
