Steve Bruce has been cut into 10-1 (from 20-1) by leading bookmaker Coral to be the next England manager after it emerged the Hull boss has been interviewed for the role. Sam Allardyce remains the hot odds-on favourite though at 1-5, while Jurgen Klinsmann is the shortest price non-Englishman in the betting at 10-1.

“As soon as the news broke that Steve Bruce has been interviewed by the FA, his odds on being appointed the next England manager cut in half. Despite the latest talks, Sam Allardyce remains the hot odds-on favourite to get the job,” said Coral’s John Hill.

**Next England Manager

1-5 Sam Allardyce, 10 Steve Bruce, Jurgen Klinsmann, 14 Eddie Howe, 25 Glenn Hoddle, Roberto Mancini, Arsene Wenger, 33 Bar.
