According to reports, the 22-year-old is valued at around £10m and Jurgen Klopp is eager to add him after watching him for some time and, would solve the problem left back position for the Reds.

Alberto Moreno has been far from convincing over the last two years since his switch from Sevilla, and was highlighted by many as a major reason why Liverpool lost the Europa League Final last term.

Fan favourite Jon Flanagan is now reportedly being encouraged to accept a loan offer at Burnley.

Potters poach Allen

Euro 2016 star Joe Allen is now on the brink of ending his Liverpool career with a move to Stoke City, after he was given permission by the Anfield outfit to undertake a medical.

Allen has been subject of much speculation after his superb tournaments performances, with a big to Sevilla even linked with the former Swansea man.

Thanks to a £13.5m bid, Stoke gazumped their rivals and Mark Hughes now reportedly wants to make him a cornerstone of the Potters’ midfield.

Klopp rated the midfield metronome but could not guarantee him regular first team football, and allowed him to seek a move elsewhere.

The deal is likely to be completed this week.
