Klinsmann now the 11-2 favourite for England job

Published:

Jurgen Klinsmann is the new favourite at 11-2 with leaving bookmaker Coral to be the next permanent England manager after being cut from 25-1 over the last 48 hours due to sustained support on the German succeeding Roy Hodgson. Glenn Hoddle is second best in the betting at 6-1 with the firm to take charge of the Three Lions for a second spell, Sam Allardyce is available at 8-1, while Laurent Blanc and Gareth Southgate can both be backed at 12-1.

“When we opened up betting on Roy Hodgson’s replacement, Jurgen Klinsmann was a long way down the list for the job, however, his name has appeared on more betting slips than any other potential candidate over the last 48 hours and due to that weight of support, he is now the favourite to become the first German to manage the England national team,” said Coral’s John Hill.
