Katie Waissel cut for Celeb Big Brother glory

Katie Waissel has been cut from 25-1 into 14-1 by leading bookmaker Coral to win Celebrity Big Brother after the former X Factor contestant was well backed in the betting for the reality show following the launch of the new series.

Elsewhere in Coral’s outright market, Christopher Biggins remains the favourite at 3-1 following strong support this week where he was supported from 9-2, Marnie Simpson is second best to go all the way at 5-1, while Stephen Bear and Ricky Norwood can both be backed at 7-1.

“Although she did not prove very popular on X Factor, Katie Waissel has done enough already to convince punters she can win Celebrity Big Brother where her odds have been slashed following the launch night,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“The early betting suggests Christopher Biggins is the one they all have to beat though as he bids to win his second reality TV show after he was crowned king of the jungle in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2007,” added Hill.
