Beverley and Windsor previews: Fire ready to burn bright

Relight My Fire hot stuff at Beverley
Relight My Fire has a tremendous record at Beverley and can further enhance it with victory in the 7f handicap on this evening’s card at the Yorkshire venue (19.05).
The Tim Easterby trained gelding is a four-time course and distance winner, and in the last of those successes stayed on strongly from off the pace to score by 1 1/4 lengths off a mark of 68.
Relight My Fire went on to finish an excellent second off 73 and is now able to race off the same mark as when last victorious.
It gives six-year-old major claims from a handicapping perspective and Relight My Fire comes into the race on the back of three solid efforts to finish in the frame over course and distance.
Those runs suggest his time is near an,d with Rachel Richardson now taking over in the saddle and taking off a valuable 3lb with her claim, this looks a nice opportunity for the son of Firebreak to get back on the scoresheet.
Innocently handicapped to strike
In the 5f handicap (18.35), Innocently can take advantage of a drop in the weights to score an overdue success.
The David O’Meara trained gelding is on a long losing run having not scored since landing a class 4 handicap at Ripon in July 2014 off a mark of 81.
Innocently got put up 6lb for that success and was far from disgraced off his revised rating of 87 when ninth of 16 to Online Alexander in a class 2 affair at York on his final start of the campaign.
The five-year-old is now able to race in this class 5 contest off a career-low mark of just 67, and that gives the son of Kheleyf a huge shout at the weights.
Innocently has also shaped better than the bare result suggests in two runs this season and should now be spot on to do himself justice.

Foxtrot can waltz to success at Windsor
Trainer Ruth Carr has her team in tremendous form and Foxtrot Knight looks to hold leading claims of providing her with another winner in the 5f handicap on this evening’s card at Windsor (19.50).
The gelding was a three-time winner last season with the last of those victories coming over course and distance off a mark of 77.
Foxtrot Knight went to finish a solid third at the track off 82 and is now able to race off a reduced rating of 79, just 2lb higher than when last victorious.
The four-year-old also comes into the contest on the back of two solid efforts to finish runner-up over course and distance and at Chelmsford and is clearly right at the top of his game at present.
Another plus is that the yard has a 33 per cent strike rate at the track and, with Jim Crowley in the saddle, everything looks in place for Foxtrot Knight to gain a deserved success.
Fashion Parade to turn on the style
Fashion Parade scored in good style last time out and can take advantage of what looks a handy mark to follow-up in the 1m 3f handicap (20.20).
The Charlie Hills trained colt shape with plenty of promise in hot maidens at Newmarket and Haydock before relishing the step up in trip to land a 1m 2f contest at Brighton.
Fashion Parade stayed on strongly to get up close home and beat Henry Croft by a head and the front two pulled four lengths clear of an 84-rated rival.
That gives the form a solid look and suggests that the selection may well have got in lightly on handicap debut off an opening mark of just 80.
Fashion Parade also remains unexposed and open to further improvement and looks sure to appreciate the further step up in trip judged on the way he finished off the race at Brighton.
