Wimbledon enters its second week off the back of a People’s Sunday where the men’s and ladies’ singles draws were afforded the opportunity to catch up after rain delays left the schedule behind.

Top 10 seeds for both sexes have already bowed out of the Championships held at the All England Club, yet plenty remain and so the betting remains a plentiful source for punters.

Coral’s tennis tipsters have been following every ace, rally and return of serve, so here are six tips (three apiece for the two singles tournaments) for you to consider this Monday…

2016 Wimbledon men’s singles

  • Fourth round
  • Monday, July 4th
  • Scheduled on court: 11:30 BST
  • All England Club, Wimbledon, southwest London

Cilic claims Nishikori opening set 6-3

Britain Wimbledon Tennis

Two of the ATP’s world top 10 collide as former US Open champion Marin Cilic plays Japanese tennis ace Kei Nishikori for the 11th time.

Although nifty Nishikori leads the previous head-to-head clashes 7-3, two of those defeats have come on the Grand Slam stage. More worrying for his huge Far East fanbase is how slowly he starts against Cilic.

In each of their last three meetings, Nishikori has dropped the first set 6-3 to the Croatian, and if you fancy that pattern to continue then a terrific 13/2 price is your reward.

Raonic to get Goffin off his game and win in four sets

Wimbledon 2016 - Day Six - The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club

Only all-time Grand Slam great Roger Federer and men’s singles favourite Andy Murray are reckoned more likely to Wimbledon this year than Montenegrin-born Canadian representative Milos Raonic.

The sixth seed takes on David Goffin of Belgium, and they’ve split their two completed matches with one win apiece. Such is the form of rampant Raonic on grass, however, with that tall frame and strong serve, he could really lay down a marker here.

Having dropped a set to Goffin at Indian Wells earlier this season, that form has a solid look abut it and makes Raonic well worth a wager at 5/2 to win their latest encounter 3-1.

Federer to put out Johnson in straight sets

Britain Wimbledon Tennis

Switzerland tennis royalty Federer could be forgiven for preparing for dangerous unseeded foe Grigor Dimitrov at this stage of Wimbledon – only the Bulgarian crashed out to Steve Johnson of the USA.

Federer is yet to drop a set at Wimbledon this year, and it is bold to bet against the all-time great. Johnson may be on his best-ever run at the grass Grand Slam, but he lacks the seemingly effortless elegance of the Swiss superstar.

It’s amazing to find Federer odds against to win in straight sets, so get all over the awesome 11/10 price for him to triumph 3-0.

2016 Wimbledon ladies’ singles

  • Fourth round
  • Monday, July 4th
  • Scheduled on court: 11:30 BST
  • All England Club, Wimbledon, southwest London
  • Live across the BBC

Serena to take Kuznetsova first set 6-2

Britain Wimbledon Tennis

WTA world number one Serena Williams has seen some of the main threat to her Wimbledon ladies’ singles crown fall by the wayside already, with last year’s runner-up Garbine Muguruza and two-time former champion Petra Kvitova bowing out.

The younger Williams renews acquaintances with Svetlana Kuznetsova, who she leads 9-3 on previous head-to-heads going into their first-ever meeting on grass.

Serena has taken the opener 6-2 twice in their last three encounters, so a fantastic 4/1 price is well worth considering for that to be the precise first set score once more.

Cibulkova to repeat Radwanska win from Eastbourne

Britain Wimbledon Tennis

Slovakia’s Dominika Cibulkova has had a real resurgence in recent weeks, and she impressed when beating former Wimbledon finalist Eugenie Bouchard – another that has returned to form.

That means women’s third seed Agnieszka Radwanska could well be scalped, and the top Polish player lost her last clash with Cibulkova in three sets at Eastbourne last month.

Once again, punters should find that recent form worth investing in with Radwanska losing three of the last five meetings by this resut. Back Cibuklova to win 2-1 again at a superb 7/2.

Halep and Keys encounter goes the distance

Britain Wimbledon Tennis

Ladies’ fifth seed Simona Halep and the woman four places below her, Madison Keys, meet in a mouthwatering fourth round fixture for any WTA World Tour aficionados.

American number two Keys has won her last two Wimbledon matches in three sets and represents the first stern test for Romanian racket star Halep.

A sweet 6/5 is on offer for their third-ever meeting to go over 2.5 sets and this appeals because both women are in such splendid form at these Championships.
