The Gurkha backed again for Coral-Eclipse glory

| 28.06.2016
SPORTSBOOK ODDS

The Gurkha is 11-10 (from 6-4) favourite with the sponsor for Saturday’s Coral-Eclipse, following further support for the French 2,000 Guineas winner today.  My Dream Boat is next in the betting at 7-2, with Time Test out to 4-1 (from 7-2).

“The Gurkha was installed as 10-3 favourite on Sunday when Aidan O’Brien raised the possibility of running at Sandown, and since then he has been backed virtually to the exclusion of his rivals, and at this rate the son of Galileo could be sent off odds-on on Saturday,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

Also taking place at Sandown on Saturday is the Coral Charge, for which recent course winner Easton Angel is the 4-1 (from 6-1) favourite, ahead of Brando and Kachy, both 5-1.
