The Gurka installed as Coral-Eclipse favourite
Published:The sponsor has made The Gurkha their 10-3 favourite for next weekend’s Coral-Eclipse, after the colt’s trainer Aidan O’Brien said the Sandown Group One was a possible target for the French 2,000 Guineas winnner. My Dream Boat and Time Test are the 7-2 joint second favourites, ahead of Fascinating Rock at 5-1.
“Following his impressive French Guineas success and a close second at Royal Ascot, The Gurkha would be a leading contender if lining up at Sandown next Saturday, indeed we would regard him as the one to beat and already make him favourite,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
