Shaqiri 2/1 to score anytime

Switzerland take on Romania in their second Euro 2016 Group A game on Wednesday evening, and it is from their tussle that Coral have picked out our bet of the day.

Enticing odds of 2/1 say that Swiss superstar Xherdan Shaqiri will score anytime in the encounter that takes place at 17:00 BST at PSG’s Parc des Princes ground in Paris.

Read on to find out why you should take a price on this tasty price…

Shaqiri was the key man for the Swiss against Albania in his side’s opening game of the tournament, as he ran show and set up Fabian Schar’s goal – the only one of the match.

Despite being 24 years of age, Shaqiri is already the star of his nation, and already has over 50 caps to his name. Out of those games, he has 17 goals, which is a great ratio even though he is not a striker.

Shaqiri-led Swiss can run riot

Switzerland and Romania have only played each other in one major final before, which came in the 1994 World Cup, and the latter ran out convincing 4-1 victors that day under current England coach Roy Hodgson.

They are similarly favourites for this battle too, and look likely to overcome the Eastern Europeans, who lost to hosts France in the Euro 2016 curtain raiser.

Stoke City’s Shaqiri was also a key performer for his club in the Premier League during the season gone by, nabbing three strikes along the way and being involved in many others.

The former Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Basel winger is more than capable of getting at least one here against lesser opposition Romania too.

So, what are you waiting for punters? Back this brilliant 2/1 bet now for Shaqiri to score anytime, to reap rewards.
