Coral’s bet of the day

  • Grosicki has grabbed four goals in as many of his previous Poland matches
  • Rennes winger scored nine and assisted three in Ligue 1, his best ever-season in France
  • The Netherlands have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last six scuffles

Grosicki 11/4 to dispatch anytime against Dutch

Punters are spoiled for choice with potential international friendly flutters today, but Coral writers have picked Poland’s prestige Euro 2016 warm-up wrangle with the Netherlands as the battle to feature our latest bet of the day.

The White Eagles are soaring at the moment, but their success is not solely down to big name marksmen such as Robert Lewandowski and Arkadiusz Milik. Another attacking protagonist has emerged over the last few matches in Kamil Grosicki, and customers can take excellent anytime odds of 11/4 for the Rennes attacker to tuck away a chance.

Soccer - UEFA Euro 2016 - Qualifying - Group D - Poland v Germany - Warsaw National Stadium

So, if you fancy at punt on the Poles, read on to find out just why we’ve highlighted recently rampant winger Grosicki to grab goal glory…

Wingman running riot

Grosicki has always boasted a goal-threat but, at 27 seems to have exploded into an exciting poaching peak, and the Ligue 1 based winger’s lethal purple patch is showing no signs of slowing.

Rather than lauded marksmen Lewandowski and Milik, or hotly tipped emerging talent Piotr Zielinski, it was Grosicki who had a huge hand in Poland’s impressive recent 5-0 thrashing of Finland, with a brilliant brace and a couple of cracking assists last time out. And, in fact, few have been as decisive for the White Eagles as Grosicki over the past few months, as the Rennes wideman has four goals in as many of his past few Poland matches, with two assists to boot.

Poland vs Germany

Whily wingman Grosicki previously illustrated his growing flank threat during Euro 2016 qualifying, with four goals and five assists from Group D, leaving him only behind Poland’s prolific striking pair for personal poaching pool haul.

Grosicki also boasted his best Ligue 1 scoring record for Rennes this season, having netted nine and created four more. As opponents the Netherlands have failed to keep a clean sheet in six, and are not headed to the France finals this summer, backing alternative Poland poaching shout Grosicki, whose goals tend to arrive in gluts, makes super sense at 11/4.
