To celebrate the League One play-off semi-final second legs, Coral tipsters offer five enticing bets for the two ties.

On Thursday night on the outskirts of Birmingham, Walsall entertain Barnsley. After the Saddlers have tackled the Tykes, looking to turnaround a bad day in West Yorkshire, Bradford City will be looking to do likewise down in the capital where they clash with Millwall.

Barnsley beat Saddlers in 90 minutes

During the regular season, the away side won the respective meetings. Couple that with the lead Barnsley enjoy over Walsall, and there is a lot to like about the 9/4 on offer for the visitors earning victory on the night in normal time.

Sam Winnall scores anytime in 90 mins v Walsall

Tykes striker Winnall bagged a brace in the first leg, and has three goals in as many career appearances against the Walsall.

Given that proven form when paired with this opposition, Winnall is a terrific 13/8 price to net again anytime and extend Barnsley’s aggregate advantage in the tie.

Millwall win by two or more in normal time

As the Lions netted three times in the first leg at Valley Parade to hold a two-goal aggregate margin going into the return match at the Den, then it follows they have it in them to be a couple better than Bradford again.

One of two recommended matchday specials (with a maximum stake of €/£20), back Millwall at a superb 7/2 for a margin of victory that is two goals or better in 90 minutes.

Steve Morison scores anytime in 90 mins v Bantams

Former Wales frontman Morison is one of that aforementioned strike pairing that make Millwall such a direct and clear threat.

Better odds are available on Morison in the anytime market at 7/4 than on partner Lee Gregory (6/4), and both scored in the first leg, so can easily do so again.

Lions to roar but both teams to score

Alternatively (or as well if you’re feeling like hedging your bets), the home team appeal for a win in normal time but with the opposition also finding the target in south London.

The Bantams brought a brilliant defensive record into the play-offs, but that has been left in ruins by Millwall’s first leg display. This is down to the exploits of their strike pairing.

Punters can get enhanced odds of 4/1 for the Lions to record victory on the night and in the tie in 90 minutes, but with Bradford also scoring.
