Nani 9/5 to notch anytime against Norway
There is a feast of international friendly football to keep punters on the edge of their seats this Sunday, and Coral have selected England’s upcoming opponents Portugal to star in this latest bet of the day.
Navigators wingman Nani, formerly of Manchester United fame, looks a fruitful flutter at generous oods of 9/5 to find the net anytime for his nation against minnows Norway. Want to know why the Sporting Lisbon academy graduate is our highlighted goal threat? Read on…

Nani enjoys dispatching against Nordic nations
As compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo lifted the Champions League last night with Real Madrid, the superstar is absent from Fernando Santos’ squad, meaning his former Man Utd teammate Nani could again act as stand-in skipper and will be relied upon as a senior attacker.
Portugal have poached 15 goals in 10 games against Norway, winning seven of those and losing just one, so will be confident of flexing their attacking talents ahead of Euro 2016 versus competitors that failed to qualify for France.
Nani, still only 29, has always had an eye for a spectacular strike (and overhead cartwheel celebrations) but has been incredibly consistent across his last two club campaigns, striking a career high of 12 goals per season in all competitions for both current team Fenerbahce and previous loan side Sporting Lisbon – stats from the wing that former outfit Man Utd could certainly have done with!

When it comes to international duty, Nani has also been in fine fettle, tucking away two goals in his past three appearances in Portuguese colours, with strikes against Belgium and Luxembourg.
Now honing in on a century of caps for the Navigators, Nani will likely lead the attack, with a gaggle of exciting youngsters in Joao Mario, Rafa Silva and Andre Gomes backing him up.
What makes Nani such a tempting 9/5 punt to poach anytime, however, is his history of dispatching against so-called Nordic nations as the adaptable attacker has rippled the net previously against the likes of Denmark, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. So, back Portugal’s in-form forward to be ice cold in front of goal again!
