Donald Trump is now the shortest price he has ever been to win the US presidential election with leading bookmaker Coral who is now quoting 2-1 on the property magnate becoming the next US president. When the firm opened betting early last year, they installed Trump in the market at 150-1 and if he does win the election, it will be one of the biggest shocks in the history of politics betting.

Trump is as short as 1-80 to become the Democrat candidate after his victory in Indiana. while he has just the 4-11 favourite Hilary Clinton ahead of him in the next US presidential betting.

“This is now the shortest price Donald Trump has been to become the next US president since we opened betting early last year where he was as big as 150-1. If he does manage to get elected, it will be one of the biggest surprises in the history of betting on politics” said Coral’s John Hill.

“Hilary Clinton remains the odds-on favourite to win the election, however, there is not much now between the two most likely nominations for the race to the White House,” added Hill.

**Next US president

4-11 Hilary Clinton, 2-1 Donald Trump, 33-1 Bernie Sanders, 50-1 John Kasich, 80-1 Bar.

**Democrat candidate

1-50 Hilary Clinton, 14-1 Bernie Sanders, 40-1 Joe Bidden

**Republican candidate

1-80 Donald Trump, 25-1 John Kasich, 50-1 Bar.
