Nadal 11/4 to beat Kyrgios 2-1 at Internazionali D’Italia

Coral’s latest bet of the day comes from the Internazionali D’Italia (also known as the Italian Open or Rome Masters), and specifically the third round tie between exciting pair Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios in the clay court event.

Enticing odds of 11/4 with Coral say that the Spaniard will defeat the combustible Australian 2-1, and read on to find out why this price is too good not to take…

Nadal is a seven-time champion of this prestigious tournament in Italy’s capital city and has reached the final a further two times, while 21-year-old Kyrgios’ best performance in any Masters or Grand Slam is the semi-finals in Miami.

On top of that, the Spain star is a 14-time Grand Slam champion, with nine of those coming on this surface at the French Open, and is currently back in fine form ahead of his attempt at ‘La Decima’ at Roland Garros.

Nadal back to his best on clay

The Mallorca native recently regained titles at the Monte Carlo Masters and Barcelona Open, beating top names along the way including Andy Murray, Stan Wawrinka, Gael Monfils and Kei Nishikori, and also reached the Madrid Masters semis.

Nadal also easily disposed of Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-3 6-3, for a second time in three tournaments, in his opening match of this Rome event.

Heavily odds-on at 2/7 to win the match, the Spaniard is expected to overcome Kyrgios, though it will likely be a close occasion.

The controversial Aussie has all the talent in the world, and even showed it when he knocked Nadal out of Wimbledon 2014 in four tight sets in their only meeting to date, even though that was on grass.

He has started well in Rome too, beating wildcard Salvatore Caruso with ease, before overcoming Milos Raonic in a tougher test.

So, take these terrific 11/4 odds now, for Nadal to get his ownback on his favourite surface.
