Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez is the odds-on 2-5 favourite with bookmaker Coral to be named the PFA Player of the Year after the nominations for the award were announced this afternoon. Mahrez’s teammate Jamie Vardy is second best in the betting at 12-5, while N’Golo Kante is available at 9-1.

In the PFA Young Player of the Year market, Dele Alli is the clear 1-4 favourite with Coral, ahead of Harry Kane who can be backed at 11-4.

“The top three in the betting for the PFA Player of the Year are all from Leicester who have been spectacular this season. Of the trio of Foxes players, it is Riyad Mahrez who is odds-on to win the award ahead of his teammates,” said Coral’s John Hill.
