Bookmaker Coral has slashed Manchester City’s odds to 7-1 from 11-1 to win the Champions League after they knocked out Paris St-Germain to reach the semi-finals. Real Madrid have also reached the semi-finals thanks to a hat-trick from Cristiano Ronaldo and the Spanish giants are now 3-1 from 15-2 to lift the trophy.

“For the first time in their history, Manchester City have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League and as the only remaining English side in the competition, we expect to see a surge of patriotic support for Manuel Pellegrini’s side going all the way,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
