Leicester 1-3 to win fairytale Premier League title

| 03.04.2016

Leicester are now as short as 1-3 with leading bookmaker Coral  to complete a fairytale season by winning the Premier League title following their 1-0 victory over Southampton this afternoon. The Foxes were 5000/1 in the outright betting for the title before the season got underway and were still available to be backed at 1000/1 in early November after they had made a strong start to the campaign.

Arsenal and Tottenham lead the chase on Leicester and both can be backed at 11-2 with Coral, while Manchester City are now as big as 80-1.

“The betting now suggests it going to take some collapse for Leicester not to get over the line and win the Premier League title in what will be the biggest sporting upset in betting history,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“It’s an outcome Britain’s bookmakers have been fearing for some time now because if the Foxes do win the title, it will cost them in the region of £50 million and be one of the most expensive results in their history,” said Coral’s John Hill.
