Coral’s bet of the day

  • Kevin Gameiro struck twice against Real Sociedad last season
  • The Frenchman netted a recent Europa League brace over Basel
  • Gameiro has an impressive 21 goals in all competitions this term

Gameiro 16/5 to score first

Coral’s bet of the day for this fine Sunday comes from some tasty La Liga action, with Sevilla’s in-form French frontman Kevin Gameiro a promising 16/5 to open the scoring in their domestic evening encounter with Real Sociedad.

The clinical marksman has been in sensational form this current campaign for the reigning Europa League champions, having clinched back-to-back European crowns last term, and they are seeking a strong league result over Sociedad tonight.

Sevilla are vying for a European position again in the Spanish top-flight, after climbing to sixth spot, and they are only six points adrift of a Champions League place ahead of this meeting with a Sociedad side who are enduring mid-table obscurity.

We need to talk about Kevin

The hosts’ main man for their latest La Liga liaison will undoubtedly be French forward Gameiro, with the menacing attacker having enjoyed huge success at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan this term, having struck an incredible 21 goals in all competitions so far throughout a solid season.

Unai Emery will be confident his reliant striker can produce the goods once again this time around, with the 28-year-old having netted in this fixture last term with a deadly double, and he has recently been linked with a move to Spanish champions Barcelona after such dazzling displays.

The eight-cap France international welcomed such speculation and suggested it was good for him, but he will be focusing on adding to his superb season tally on Sunday evening, following a brilliant brace against Basel in the Europa League recently.

With an impressive 13 strikes so far domestically, Gameiro will be gunning for further success in his latest outing and odds of 16/5 to open proceedings are very promising for a marksman that simply cannot stop scoring.
