Firebird Flyer gives Tizzard something to cheer about
Trainer Colin Tizzard landed a 16/1 winner in Firebird Flyer at the Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter, just a day after his horse Cue Card fell at the 2016 Cheltenham Festival Gold Cup in a good position. Tizzard had his own slice of luck this time around after Golden Chieftain failed to jump the final fence when three lengths clear.

England enjoyed Grand Slam success on Saturday as they prevailed after beating France at the Stade de France in Paris.
