Be sure to make the most of this generous offer, as the Republic look to build upon their Euro 2016 qualification triumph. Ireland are sure to net against Switzerland, so to find out why read on…

Walters to inspire Emerald Isle outfit

Jonathan Walters was key to O’Neill’s qualification success. The Stoke City forward scored twice in a play-off against Bosnia and Herzegovina that earned Ireland a 2–0 victory and therefore a place at the France finals.

Walters boasts an impressive record for his country, netting 10 times in 38 caps and will be a vital component for his nation in France this summer. He scored five in 2015 from just eight outings.

Ireland’s record appearance maker and goalscorer Robbie Keane has struck some 67 times when playing for his country. For MLS franchise LA Galaxy, Keane already has two in three this term and will want to carry that club form into a likely international swansong at the Euros.

Add in the box-to-box threat of Jeff Hendrick, wingplay from James McClean and Aiden McGeady, plus Robbie Brady’s set-piece nous, and there’s more than enough in Irish ranks to suggest they will score past the Swiss.
