Zlatan to light up the Bridge

PSG have been beaten twice in 36 games all season and sit top of Ligue 1 by 23 points with a goal difference of +53, 43 more than anyone else. Such domination is hard to comprehend. Third placed French side Lyon are closer to the relegation places than to the leaders.

A huge reason for this is the evergreen Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has scored in the first leg at the Parc des Princes. The Swede is now PSG’s all-time leading scorer with 136 in 164 games and already has 30 this season.

Ibrahimovic was rested for his PSG’s match against Montpellier at the weekend and came off the bench for a brief cameo. The maverick marksman will thus be ready to roar, and carries fine form into a game which his team need only need a draw from.

Once a fortress, the Stamford Bridge faithful have witnessed four defeats this season, with Chelsea only managing three clean sheets. Blues club captain John Terry out with a hamstring injury, so their poor defensive record look set to continue.
