Leicester 8-15 to win Premier League title

Leicester are now as short as 8-15 with leading bookmaker Coral to win the Premier League title this season following their victory at Selhurst Park this afternoon. The Foxes were 5000/1 before the 2015/16 Premier League campaign got underway and if they do go on to lift the title, it will cost Britain’s bookmakers an estimated £50 million.

Tottenham, who are in action tomorrow against Bournemouth, are second best in Coral’s outright betting at 10-3, Arsenal are available at 5-1 after winning this lunchtime, while Manchester City can be backed at 20-1.

“The biggest sporting upset in history now looks very likely, according to the betting, as Leicester are now long odds-on to win the Premier League title where they would make a mockery of their pre-season odds of 5000/1,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“Leicester winning the title would cost Britain’s bookmakers an estimated £50 million as thousands of small staking customers will be set for huge pay-outs from the Foxes’ success,” added Hill.

**Premier League outright

8-15 Leicester, 10-3 Tottenham, 5 Arsenal, 20 Manchester City, 150 Bar.
