Coral’s bet of the day

  • Hulk struck past Benfica last season, opening the scoring away from home
  • The Brazilian has netted an impressive 11 goals on all fronts this term
  • Zenit are unbeaten at home in 13 outings across all competitions

Hulk scores and Zenit win in 90 minutes at 11/4

PSG’s visit to London to face Chelsea may be the showcase Champions League last 16 tie tonight, but Coral’s bet of the day comes from Zenit St Petersburg’s intriguing battle with Benfica, with Hulk 11/4 to strike in a home win within 90 minutes at 11/4 (£20 max stake).

This European encounter in Russia will see the hosts attempt to fight back from a single goal down on their own patch, with home surroundings providing a huge advantage in that search in their second leg match-up.

Led by former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas, who has confirmed he will be departing the club at the end of this season, Zenit have been extremely dominant at the Petrovsky Stadium and will be confident of earning a quarter-final spot.

Hulk ready to smash visiting defence

The hosts’ supreme record in front of their own fans in Russia is a promising one for this latest European tussle and a daunting task for Benfica, with Zenit having not been toppled there in 13 outings on all fronts.

This run stretches back to August last year, and their in-form frontman Hulk is also a cause for huge optimism, as he continues to find the net, after dispatching an impressive 11 times in all competitions this current campaign.

The bulldozing Brazilian dispatched past Zenit’s Champions League opponents in their meeting last season in Portugal and also netted crucial strikes against Lyon and Valencia earlier in their current European campaign.

Odds of 11/4 on the bullish Brazilian bagging another anytime and firing Zenit to a Champions League victory in normal time (£20 max stake) are unmissable as Coral’s bet of the day, as a coveted quarter-final position looms on the horizon.
