Coral’s bet of the day

  • Antoine Griezmann recently netted the winner over Real Madrid
  • The Frenchman has struck 22 goals this season in all competitions
  • Nine of those strikes have come away from home

Griezmann 4/1 to open scoring for Atleti

Coral’s latest bet of the day comes from a tasty La Liga encounter between Gary Neville’s Valencia and Atletico Madrid, with French forward Antoine Griezmann 4/1 to open proceedings at the Mestalla Stadium.

The French forward has been superb this season, following up his previously clinical campaign, and has reached the 20-goal mark for a second successive term, proving his worth ahead of a big summer at Euro 2016.

Diego Simeone’s key marksman has a total of 22 strikes so far this current campaign and will be key to any further success against Los Che on their travels, after a recent surge in front of goal.

Frenchman ready to down Los Che

Griezmann has bagged two goals in as many outings for Atleti, including one over Real Sociedad last time out, though his most important was the winning strike against bitter city rivals Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

The France international frontman pounced just before the hour mark to open proceedings and ultimately earned Simeone’s Mattress Makers three vital points in the race for La Liga supremacy this season.

Atleti’s menacing marksman has been vital on the road as well as at the Vicente Calderon, with nine of his 22 goals so far this term having come away from home, which is a worrying thought for Neville’s rearguard.

The 24-year-old also boasts three goals in nine career appearances against Valencia and will be seeking to add to that tally this time around, on the back of two successful goalscoring outings. So make sure to back Griezmann to open the scoring once again at 4/1 as Coral’s bet of the day!
