Coral’s bet of the day

  • Herrera has scored in last two matches
  • Man Utd have won each of last 10 v Watford
  • Injuries mean Spaniard should start again

Herrera 5/1 to score anytime against Watford

Coral’s latest bet of the day relates to the Wednesday evening Premier League clash between Manchester United and Watford at Old Trafford, where Ander Herrera is a fantastic 5/1 to continue his fine form and score anytime.

The Spaniard has fired home in each of his last two games, last time out against Arsenal and in the Europa League before that at the expense of Midtjylland.

And, with United having suffered a number of injuries yet somehow their results have improved due to the introduction of academy graduates, Herrera has been a key part of their recent resurgence.

Watford will certainly be nervous ahead of this encounter too, as they have lost each of their last 10 meetings in all competitions with the Red Devils, including a 2-1 last-gasp defeat at Vicarage Road this season in the Premier League, back in November.

The Hornets’ last win against them was way back in 1986, in Sir Alex Ferguson’s first season in charge at Old Trafford.

Goals galore expected at Old Trafford

In Man Utd’s previous seven clashes with Watford, meanwhile, they have averaged over three goals per game, meaning goals galore are expected once more, with Basque box-to-box player Herrera a great shout to be amongst them.

Speaking ahead of the match, he certainly seemed up for the occasion as his side aim to finish in the top four, while he also praised Hornets boss and fellow Spaniard Quique Sanchez Flores.

“He (Flores) was a great player and now he’s doing very well in Watford,” Herrera said. “It’s not so easy when you’re promoted and they are already safe.

“They are fighting even for a European place so he is doing very well. He also did very well in Atletico Madrid and Getafe so I have to congratulate him. Hopefully, we can beat them though.”

So, what are you waiting for punters? Take these sensational 5/1 odds for Herrera to score anytime while you can!
