Murray baby girl 250/1 to win Wimbledon
Published:Following the news that Andy Murray’s wife Kim Sears has given birth to a baby girl, bookmaker Coral is quoting odds of 250-1 that she becomes a Wimbledon champion within 30 years, while it’s 100-1 that she wins a Grand Slam title.
With the name yet to be announced, Coral has installed Jusy has the front-runner at 10-1, ahead og Kim’s mother’s name Leonore at 12-1. Elizabeth has been chalked up at 16-1,Charlotte is 18-1, while Amelie, after Andy’s coach Amelie Mauresmo, is priced at 20-1. Other names on the list include Heather at 28-1, Steffi at 40-1, and Serena at 66-1.
“Andy and Kim’s baby news has sparked plenty of betting interest this morning and if their daughter is anything like her daddy, we could see her following in his footsteps and winning Wimbledon in year;s to come,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
“With the baby’s name yet to be announced, the speculation has already begun, with Judy the early favourite,” added McGeady.
