Muhammed Ali odds-on to receive an honorary knighthood

| 24.02.2016

Bookmaker Coral is offering odds of 1-2  for boxing legend Muhammed Ali to be awarded an honorary knighthood.

The news comes as British boxer and former WBA heavyweight world champion David Haye launches a petition for Muhammad Ali to receive an honorary knighthood for recognition of his life and career.

“Honorary Knighthoods for foreign nationals are rare but so is Muhammad Ali.  No one can question his contribution to international boxing as well as the work he has done in campaigning against poverty and discrimination and we think he is an odds-on shot to be be knighted,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.

Bill Gates and Steven Spielberg have been past recipients of Honorary Knighthoods.
