Manchester City 15-8 favourites to win title next season

| 01.02.2016

Leading bookmaker Coral make Manchester City the 15-8 favourites to win the Premier League title next season following the news that Pep Guardiola will take charge of the club from the summer. Arsenal and Chelsea are joint-second favourites at 7-2, while Manchester United can be backed at 9-2 with the firm for the 2016/17 campaign.

Manchester City are 6-1 with Coral to win the FA Cup next season, 12-1 to lift the Champions League trophy in 2017, while they are 100-1 to complete the domestic treble.

Coral has also opened up betting on whether Guardiola will see out his three-year contract with City in which he is 6-4 to do so and 1-2 to leave before then.

“Next season’s title odds would probably look a lot different if Guardiola had not been appointed to take charge of the club from the summer, however, now that the worst kept secret in football has been revealed, City will start the 2016/17 campaign as the clear favourites to lift the trophy,” said Coral’s John Hill.
