Bookies push Trump out to 11-2 to be US President

Published:

Leading bookmaker Coral has pushed Donald Trump all the way out to 11-2 from 3-1 to be the next US President after losing the Iowa Republican caucuses to Ted Cruz last night. In a remarkable swing in the betting, Marco Rubio is now odds-on at 8-11 to be the Republican candidate, with Trump available at 5-2 in the same market.

Hilary Clinton has been trimmed into 5-6 (from Evs) to win the Presidential Election this year, while she is now as short as 1-6 to be the Democrat candidate.

“The Iowa vote has had a significant effect on the betting for Donald Trump who has seen his odds double to be the next president, while he has been replaced by Marco Rubio at the top of the market for the Republican candidate,” said Coral’s John Hill.
