Coral’s bet of the day

  • West Brom have kept 10 clean sheets in all competitions this campaign
  • Albion have also won to nil on six occasions this season
  • The Baggies have lost none of their last seven scuffles with Peterborough

West Brom a brilliant 13/5 to beat Peterborough to nil

As Premier League team West Bromwich Albion travel to London Road for their FA Cup fourth round replay against League One Peterborough United, Coral pick out a plum bet of the day for punters to brighten up your post-Pancake Day midweek.

On Wednesday evening, the Baggies trek to visit the Cambridgeshire club with Tony Pulis likely to keep things tight, so odds of 13/5 look like fabulous value for Albion to win to nil on the road.

So far this season, Albion have shut out 10 opponents across all competitions, with five of those occurring away from home, as coach Pulis continues to enhance his reputation for fielding teams with industry and graft in mind.

The former Stoke City and Crystal Palace boss has also overseen six wins to nil this term, meaning most of Albion’s triumphs have been backed by a clean sheet.

Baggies proving belligerent

In addition, the Midlands men have lost just one of their last five fixtures, and should have more than enough quality to see off even the pluckiest of League One pretenders.

In midfield, the likes of Darren Fletcher, Sandro and Claudio Yacob will help the Baggies batten down the hatches and shield against any Posh pressure. While, in attack, West Brom boast Saido Berahino, who got his last start in the reverse.

Berahino bagged a brace on that occasion and will be keen to press his case as he eyes a return to the Premier League starting XI after staying put during the transfer window.

With Berahino back in form and bagging cup goals, plus Albion’s case for the defence, this 13/5 bet of the day for a victory to nil looks rather nifty.
