Bookmaker Coral believe Adele will be the toast of the Brit Awards on Wednesday night, making her as short as 1-33 to win Best British Female Solo Artist and 1-12 to beat off James Bay and Coldplay to win Best British Album

In the category for Best British Male Solo Artist, James Bay looks a cert to scoop that award at odds of just 1-7, while Mark Ronson is priced at 6-1, ahead of Calvin Harris at 8-1. Elsewhere, Coldplay are expected to beat One Direction in the category for Best British Group at 1-4

“If the odds are anything to go by Adele will have her hands full on Wednesday night as she is odds-on to clean up on the night,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.

“James Bay and Coldplay are also expected to be the other big winners on the night, leaving the likes of One Direction and Mark Ronson empty handed,” added McGeady.
