Well-backed Kalkir new favourite for Coral.ie Hurdle

The Willie Mullins-trained Kalkir is the new 7-1 (from 12-1) favourite with the sponsor for Sunday’s Coral.ie Hurdle, following sustained support for the 5-y-o.  Former market leader De Name Escapes Me is eased to 10-1 (from 8-1), the same price as Whatsforuwontgobyu.

“Despite being absent from the track since last season’s Triumph Hurdle, Kalkir has been all the rage for the Coral.ie Hurdle, having been a 16-1 chance when we opened betting a week ago, and it will take a big move for another runner to prevent him being sent off favourite on Sunday,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
