On what could be a busy Monday for clubs in the Premier League, Coral’s Rumour Reel brings you a selection of high profile clubs all poised to make offers to targets.

Tempting Teixeira

A name that has been linked to Chelsea for some time, though it seems as though the club could be about to lift those January Blues having reportedly tabled a £30m bid for the Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder.

The Brazilian has struck 26 goals in 26 games this season for the Ukrainian club and it is thought that Chelsea chiefs are keen to bring the 26-year-old to Stamford Bridge to aid the second half of their Premier League campaign.

Italy Soccer Serie A

Carlos Bacca is also another player who could be heading to Kings Road, with the current English league champions prepared to offer £30m for the AC Milan centre forward who only switched to the Serie A from Sevilla last summer.

Busy on the Mersey?

Both the red and blue half of Liverpool could well be about to make significant bids for players this January. Jurgen Klopp’s side are understood to have agreed a deal to sign former AC Milan attacker Pato from Corinthians for £11m with the club in need of reinforcements.

Portugal Soccer Champions League

Everton, meanwhile, could be about to land long term target Andriy Yarmolenko, with the Toffees understood to be preparing a £21m offer to his club Dynamo Kiev, with striker Steven Naismith set to join Norwich.

Magpies fuelling up for winter

Newcastle are another club who could well be busy in the coming days. Steve McClaren is keen to strengthen his squad to aid their fight against relegation, with Swansea City’s Jonjo Shelvey a genuine target.

The club are also believed to be ready to test West Bromwich Albion’s resolve with a bid in the region of £18m for unsettled striker Saido Berahino, with a number of clubs said to be chasing him.
