Adebayor aiming for PL return
After playing just 17 minutes of competitive action since last January and having his previous Tottenham contract terminated in September, club-less striker Emmanuel Adebayor is now reportedly considering offers from the Premier League again.

The former Togo international frontman is aiming to reignite his top-flight career after his disastrous time with Spurs came to an end last year and it’s believed both Watford and Crystal Palace are seeking the forward’s signature.
Adebayor has been keeping his fitness levels up with the help of a personal trainer since a mutual contract agreement with the White Hart Lane club last year and is keen to remain in London, meaning proposals from the Eagles and Hornets are fitting.
Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores previously denied such an offer and, with Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo in great form, the out-of-favour marksman may struggle for minutes again at a club who are flying high. Although, Palace are in need of attacking reinforcements after Patrick Bamford’s loan was cut short, opting for a return to parent club Chelsea.
Saints seek Tonny Vilhena capture
With his Southampton side struggling massively so far this season, Ronald Koeman is in search of a boost within his underwhelming south coast ranks and has identified a midfielder from his homeland as a potential signing.

Feyenoord ace Tonny Vilhena is the man that is being sought after by the Dutch manager after missing out on him last January, with the Eredivisie club previously refusing to do business over a mooted €2.4m move.
The 21-year-old prospect would join a strong Dutch base within the Saints ranks, alongside Jordy Clasie, Maarten Stekelenburg, Virgil van Dijk and Cuco Martina all plying their trade on the south coast.
But he admitted his frustration at his former attempted switch falling through, stating: “I admit that I would have liked to have played for Ronald. I like him. But if it cannot happen, what can I do?”
Grealish gaining Championship interest
After previously opting to choose England over the Republic of Ireland as his represented nation, Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish has endured a tough spell, with his club form dipping dramatically.

Last season under Tim Sherwood he flourished and helped the West Midlands outfit reach an FA Cup final appearance, but his performances, as well as the Villans’, have been far from promising and Championship sides are looking at possible loan deals.
The 20-year-old was banished to train with the club’s development squad after pictures emerged of his off-the-field lifestyle, but Leeds United, QPR and Derby County are all believed to want him on loan for the remainder of this current campaign.
