Sunderland midfielder Liam Bridcutt has extended his loan spell with Championship club Leeds United and will remain at Elland Road until the end of this current campaign.

(14:17) Ramsey returns to QPR

Former QPR boss Chris Ramsey has returned to the club as technical director and will take on a variety of roles relating to both coaching and player development.

(13:37) Barcelona make 77 signings

With Barcelona’s transfer ban having been lifted during the turn of the New Year, they have celebrated by recruiting no less than 77 new players.

Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan were captured last summer but are now fully eligible, while Daniel Gudjohnsen, the son of former Barca and Chelsea striker Eidur, is among the rest of the club’s new registered players. The majority of the Catalan’s 77 signings will be part of the club’s renowned La Masia academy.
