Blues battle for Toffees revenge

After being toppled in their previous meeting, Premier League champions Chelsea will seek domestic revenge over Everton as they collide once again at Stamford Bridge during this weekend’s top-flight afternoon clashes.

The Blues were dispatched 3-1 in that previous league meeting under Jose Mourinho, and they are 7/2 with Coral to face another disappointing defeat at the hands of Roberto Martinez’s Toffees this time around.

Although, the Londoners have enjoyed a domestic revival under their temporary Dutch coach Guus Hiddink and are 13/5 to triumph with both sides getting on the scoresheet.

Steven Naismith hit a hat-trick in that last meeting and is 7/2 for another goal anytime, though in-form frontman Romelu Lukaku is a more likely threat, with the clinical Belgian 13/2 to open proceedings. Meanwhile, rejuvenated Blues forward Diego Costa 3/1 to net two or more after a recent run of rampant form.

Man City chase Palace victory at home

Manuel Pellegrini’s Manchester City are looking to keep the pace with league leaders Arsenal with a victory over Crystal Palace, but they face a side which they have already toppled twice this season.

The Sky Blues overcame Alan Pardew’s Eagles (7/1) narrowly at Selhurst Park domestically with an injury-time winner from youngster Kelechi Iheanacho (9/2 last scorer) but thumped their opponents 5-1 in a League Cup meeting.

Iheanacho was again on target in that most recent hammering, with record signing Kevin De Bruyne also playing a starring role, and the Belgium international is 7/4 to net anytime. Meanwhile, Eagles star man Yohan Cabaye is always worth backing in the anytime market at 4/1.

Bournemouth v Norwich City

Cherries contest Canaries in crucial clash

Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth are still battling it out for Premier League survival this season and they will look to avoid their previous fixtures failures with a crucial triumph over Norwich City.

The Cherries sit one place and two points below Alex Neil’s Canaries in the fight to avoid relegation, with the south coast club 10/3 to taste a potentially fatal defeat on home soil.

Cameron Jerome and Wes Hoolahan starred in that previous 3-1 win last year and are 15/8 and 6/1 to strike anytime again, while Cherries new January signing Juan Iturbe is 5/1 to net the game’s last goal on his possible full debut.

Southampton have not overcome next opponents West Bromwich Albion since January 2014 but Ronald Koeman’s men are 18/5 to win and both teams score this time out in what is a vital encounter at St Mary’s.

The two sides are level on points in the standings, with the Saints narrowly ahead on goal difference, though they are 9/2 to suffer another defeat to Tony Pulis’ Baggies.

Sadio Berahino struck the winner in this fixture last term and is 2/1 to net again anytime, while Italian marksman Graziano Pelle is 4/1 to bag the game’s last goal.
