Ahead of Sunday night’s launch of The Jump, bookmaker Coral has been snowed under with bets on Beth Tweddle winning the show. The Olympic gymnast is the 4-1 favourite to beat off her rivals, ahead of Made In Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli at 5-1.

Other celebrities in with a chance of winning the show include Dan Cain at 6-1, Brian McFadden at 7-1, Linford Christie at 11-1, while Sarah Harding has been installed as the outsider at 20-1.

“Beth Tweddle certainly has the upper hand heading into this competition and punters are convinced that she is this year’s winner judging by the avalanche of bets we have taken on her this week,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
